Peter King interviewed Wally Harris MM at the Imperial War Museum in London as part of the continued development of the WW2 drama pilot.
Wally’s thrilling and personal story of the D-Day invasion was expertly captured by Carl Burke and crew.
The support for the WW2 Pilot ‘Wally Harris’ (Working Title) is growing every week.
Recently the British Army’s Major Anna-Lee Johnston, of REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) kindly gave their support by providing the movement of armoured vehicles and manpower for the production.
This is fantastic news and we look forward to working together.
We are very honored to receive the following praise for Karosta from acclaimed documentary filmmaker Nick Broomfield:
‘I enjoyed the film very much. It gives a fantastic portrait of the demise and fall of the Soviet Empire as seen through the residents of Karosta. It is beautifully photographed and observed with a wonderful humanity that gives hope for the future.’
Karosta: Life After the USSR has been selected for London Independent Documentary Festival 2009 (LIDF) and will be screened at the Barbican in April.
The Director Peter King and the Producer Rowland Kimber will be part of a post-film presentation after a screening on the 2nd of April. Also present will be Mark Fisher (Lead Artist/Director, ART.e) and Rebecca Savage (Freelance Filmmaker).
